She holds an Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Project Leadership Certification and a CPSD Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity certification; and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida.

In this session I will share the newest trends for benefits, why we need to innovate for employer solutions, employee offerings and cost containment strategies. 

Speaker:  Jordan Markuson is a Risk Management Consultant at Assurance, a Marsh & McLennan Agency, who focuses on the staffing industry. Jordan strives to continually educate, advise and tailor insurance programs that provide both corporate protections and uniquely controlled premium costs for his clients. He's a passionate entrepreneur who intimately understands insurance from both sides of the table. Jordan received his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Indiana University Kelly School of Business. He currently holds his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. 

Key Points on the Return to Work

This session will provide an overview and guidance for employers and employees as the return to work process begins. It will attempt to answer some of the questions employers have about the process going forward.

Speaker: Daniel Simonette is an accomplished and highly effective Labor and Employment attorney specializing in arbitrations, mediations, administrative hearings, and contract negotiations for a broad range of organizations. He has experience working both in-house and as part of small, diversified legal practices. He has trained and developed stakeholders across all levels to ensure compliance with all relevant legal matters. He is an engaging and articulate communicator, skilled in advising individual and corporate clients, and conducting legal investigations while maintaining the strictest level of confidentiality.

Beyond The Basics – Workplace Race Relations

The ability to make necessary changes and influence better Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices in the workplace starts with Emotional Intelligence. This session will provide a foundation of change that  requires everyone to address the root cause(s) of racism and discrimination in the workplace and the business impact.

Speaker:  Erika Broadwater is the National President of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources. Leading the charge of organization expansion, globalization, and strategic partnership. Immediate Past President of the Delaware Chapter of NAAAHR. Professional Background includes Head of Talent Acquisition North America, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Consultant, and Recruiting Operations Manager with over 25 years of experience Affirmative Action, Change Management, Employer Attractiveness and Branding, Human Capital and Talent Strategist to optimize employee engagement. As a member of the Global Center of Excellence, focused on improving talent performance, D/E/I, HR operations, leading and driving global recruitment, and implementing strategies by building solid relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

Global Diversity, Inclusion and Supply Chain Sustainability

This session will focus on Global Diversity, Inclusion and Supply Chain Sustainability. Participants will gain additional insight on the process of diversity and inclusion from a practical, business approach and understand considerations for environmental, social and governance considerations (ESG). This includes insight on supplier diversity as a practice, diversity as a consideration within the ESG framework and consideration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the ongoing journey of global inclusion.

Speaker: IlLonka (Javette) Hines is Director, SC Supplier Senior Group Manager and Head of Supply Chain Development, Inclusion and Sustainability at Citi.   Javette leads Citi’s efforts to ensure the consideration and inclusion of diverse firms within Citi’s sourcing practice.  She works across the firm to align supplier selection efforts with Banking on 2030: Citi and the Sustainable Development Goals, global expansion, and serves on the Enterprise Operations and Technology’s Diversity Operating Committee as the Recruiting Subcommittee Co-Chair.  Javette has over 20 years of experience in procurement, leadership, diversity, and management, including 11 years and International Business Machines (IBM). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education and is a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University. She also holds a Juris Doctor from the Wake Forest University School of Law and holds a certificate as a Certified Professional Supplier Diversity (CPSD) from the Institute of Supply Management.   Javette is an advocate for social justice, diversity and inclusion both personally and professionally.  In June, she will receive a certificate in Human Rights from the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice at Fordham Law School.
